   This event aims to bring out presentation skills among students. It will also induce students to gain more interest on their respective topics, which helps them to go for further research on it.

Rules and Regulations:

 

• Maximum of three members per team.
• Candidates should send their paper in soft copy to our mail id on or before date.
• Spot entries are not allowed.
• Accepted papers will be intimated through mail.
• Time allotted for presentation is 5 minutes and 2 minutes for queries.
• ID card is mandatory for all the participants.
• Participants should bring two hard copies and one soft copy of the paper at the time of presentation (MS Office 2003, 2007 format).

Paper Submission:

 

• Participants should submit the soft copy of the full paper in IEEE format (abstract alone will not be accepted) and email to paperersmeronz2k18@gmail.com
• Paper should be submitted as a MS word document (.doc) or pdf format.
• Bring your Soft Copies in Pen drive.
• Details of the team members: Name, Department, E-Mail ID, Contact number, Institution name should be sent along with the Paper.

General Rules:

 

• Team Size – Individual or up to 3 members per team.
• The decisions of the judges shall be final.
• The Competition is open to only Undergraduate students including Diploma.

Description

 

    A poster is a graphically based approach to present a research or project ideas. In presenting your project with a poster, you should aim to use the poster as a means for generating active discussion of the project.

   The event consists of quizzes and algorithm development on multiple coding platform. The participants can learn as well as implement their coding knowledge. And finally the participants who left out after scrutiny are asked to implement their working algorithms on some other products.

 

Event Proceedings:

 

Prelims-Online:
  The registered participants will get a Google docs format to their respective registered mail ID’s in which the participants have to answer the questions given in it. The questions will be mostly on fundamentals of programming.

 

Prelims - On Spot:
  Teams will be shortlisted based on the scores in the prelims. Prelims consist of multiple choice questions based on fundamentals of programming.

Note:

  Teams who have lost or missed the Prelims Online round will have their second chance in the Prelims On-Spot.

 

Second Round:
  The participants will be given a half completed C code from which they have to complete the missing parts to get the required results.

 

Final Round:
  The selected team from the previous rounds will be given a working product for which they have to modify the codes and get a different function that is demanded.

   This is a team event consist of three members, who are given the hint which direct them to other simultaneous hints. Through these hints, team can get required components for designing a final circuit.

 

Event Proceedings:

  The registered teams will get a Google docs format to their registered mail ID’s in which the team have to answer the questions given in it. Teams will be shortlisted based on the scores in the prelims. Prelims consist of multiple choice questions based on basic electronics.

 

Prelims - On Spot:
  : Teams will be shortlisted based on the scores in the prelims. Prelims consist of multiple choice questions based on basic electronics.

Note:

Final Round:
  Teams must collect their components by following the hints one after another. Using the collected components, teams have to build the circuit which will be provided in the final hint.

   The team consists of two members. The event forces the participants to analyse the tasks and make a decision of their own and also to expose their ideas to the crowd. This make the participants to give up their fear and get the prize.

Prelims - On Spot:
  Teams will be shortlisted based on the scores in the prelims. Prelims consists of multiple choice questions based on general aptitude.

Note:

  Teams who have lost in the Prelims Online or who have missed the Prelims Online round will have their second chance in the Prelims On Spot.

 

Second Round:
  one participants from the team has to draw the circuit without seeing it, while the other one should guide them to complete this task.

Note:

  Judgement will be based on the timing of completion.

 

Final Round:
  All selected team will be given a specific problem, from which the participants have to come up with a oral presentation of the solution that can be implemented on real-time.

   An online photography and presentation event for the upcoming photography clickers. A complete new and fresh venture to showcase your photographs with a creative innovative and artistic ideas. It’s good to take some good photographs, but it is better to present you photo work in a stage and make others inspire your works.

   The participants has to submit their photographic works to the given mail address and your photos will be shortlisted for the final round on the event day. Theme can be anything . Shortlisted participants has to present their idea in the photo, what the techniques they have implemented , the setting the used whether it is automatic shot or manual shot (photos can be taken in both mobile and digital or DSLR). Edited photos can be sent with the copy of the original photos. The participant who explains picture with the perfect idea and presentation will be awarded.

Photo Submission:

Participants should submit the photo copy to the following mail-id :

Rules:

 

• Theme is open. Photos must be presented with perfct ideas.
• The photo must be sent through mail only and it must be an original and the taken by the participant only.
• Mild editing can be done.
• Edited photos must be sent along with original photos.
• No watermark must be there in the photo.
• The participant must explain his/her idea and their point of views to the judges.
• The presentation need not to be time oreinted . It is purely a creator and his idea oriented.
• The original details of the image will be checked . If the image doesnt contain the original details it will be rejected.
• Photos can be taken in mobile , DSLR , digital cameras.
• Avoid over editing of the image .
• Technically sounded photos(picture composition , colour level, framing etc) will be given more preference for selection to final rounds.

Note:

  The team who have lost in the Prelims Online or who have missed the Prelims Online round will have their second chance in the Prelims on Spot.

Second round:
  The video will be displayed; the participants in the team should find the principle behind the displayed video.

Final round:
  The selected team from the previous round will be allowed to hear an audio of research papers, based on that paper questions will be asked.

  Judgement will be based on the number of questioned ordered.

Description

 

   The event is all about battling with the robot in field where the event is a manual Robo-Soccer challenge where we aim to find the champion soccer master in Robots. Participants would be bringing their Robots to the battle.

 

Rules:

 

• Each Bot will have to defend the goal on its side as well as score the goal on the opposite side.
• Each Bot can have a maximum of 3 team members.
• The weight limit of the robot for this competition is 4 Kg.
• The start zone for the single robot is 500mm x 500 mm.
• The game will start at the count of 3 given by referee followed by whistle. In case a team starts its robot before the whistle, the game will be restarted and a team making this mistake for more than3 times will be disqualified.
• Each goal scored by a bot by rolling the ball on the ground will fetch the team 1 point.

• The voltage at any point on the electrical connections should not exceed 12 V DC
• In case of jam up of robots for more than 20 seconds the robots will have to kick-off again at the order of the referee.
• In case of any discrepancy the final decision rests in the hands of co-ordinators.
• Any act of misbehaviour or misconduct will lead to immediate disqualification of the team.
• The robots are not allowed to use grippers or actuations which are intended to harm the opponent’s robot.
• The competition is aimed at making the game a friendly football match rather than a robo war.

 

Judging Criteria:

 

• Based on maximum goals.
• If the goals are equal then extra time will be provided or penalty shoots out.

Description:

 

   To design an autonomous line follower robot capable of traversing the given track. The track is a black, wide line against on a white background. It will have checkpoints indicated my markers. If the bot moves out of the track, it must be placed at the nearest checkpoint. The start and stop positions will be a black box (5*5cm).

 

Rules:

 

• The dimension of the bot should not exceed 25*25cm.
• The potential difference between any two points in the robot should not exceed 12v at any given point in time.
• The robot must be started manually using a switch.
• Participants must bring their own components, laptops and software. If they wish to make changes on the day of the event. No components will be provided.
• Each team can have maximum 2 members.
• NXG and readymade bots are not allowed.

• The bot must complete the track within five minutes.
• Bot has three lives to complete the task, else the bot is disqualified.
• The time measured and points awarded by the organizers are final. In case of any dispute, the organizers will have the final say.
